JPE Crossref DOI registrations include ORCID information provided by an author in order to help authors track their publications. PhilPapers also subscribes to Crossref, and information from Crossref is automatically sent to PhilPapers. The JPE also encourages authors to take advantage of the free manuscript indexing service provided by Google Scholar.

ORCID is a non-profit organization supported by a global community of member organizations, including research institutions, publishers, funders, professional associations, service providers, and other stakeholders in the research ecosystem.
